Mob Psycho 100 is a masterpiece of anime storytelling and animation from ONE — the same creator as One Punch Man — and it may well be the more profound of the two works. Shigeo Kageyama, known as Mob, is a middle schooler with literally world-ending psychic powers who actively suppresses his abilities because he understands that true strength is not about power — it's about character, connection, and being a good person. Bones' animation across all three seasons is some of the most imaginative and technically jaw-dropping work in the medium's history. The series is simultaneously a hilarious comedy, an emotionally resonant coming-of-age story, and a genuinely thoughtful meditation on identity, authenticity, and human connection. Season 3's finale is one of the most beautiful and cathartic moments in anime. Mob Psycho is a once-in-a-generation achievement.
