Monster Hunter Rise is Capcom's celebration of the Monster Hunter franchise's portable roots — originally developed for Nintendo Switch before arriving on PC and consoles — that introduced the most radical movement overhaul in the series' history. The Silkbind system, powered by your Palamute companion's ability to launch silk threads, allows hunters to zip across terrain, grapple onto monsters in mid-air, and chain wire-based attacks into existing weapon combos. Rise feels faster and more aerial than World, while Sunbreak — the massive expansion — deepens the roster and endgame to rival its predecessor's scope. The Rampage mode provides a unique siege-style challenge where you defend the village of Kamura against waves of attacking monsters. With fourteen weapon types each reimagined with new Silkbind attacks, Rise offers extraordinary mechanical variety.
