Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 is Ubisoft Toronto's entry in the beloved open-world first-person shooter franchise — the most politically grounded and visually lush Far Cry to date. Set on the fictional Caribbean island of Yara — a thinly veiled Cuba ruled by the charismatic dictator Antón Castillo, played with magnetic menace by Giancarlo Esposito — players take the role of guerrilla fighter Dani Rojas as they work to dismantle Castillo's regime from the inside. The worldbuilding of Yara is extraordinary: Spanish colonial architecture, crumbling American cars, tobacco plantations, and jungle terrain combine into a setting of genuine character and beauty. The resolver weapons system — improvised firearms and gadgets built from scraps — gives the guerrilla fantasy mechanical authenticity. Giancarlo Esposito's villain is one of Far Cry's finest antagonists, bringing genuine weight and complexity to the role. A massive, gorgeous open-world adventure.
