Log Horizon

Log Horizon is the isekai that approaches being trapped in a game world as a political and sociological problem rather than a combat challenge — a series more interested in how 30,000 players might organize a functional society than in power escalation. When players of the MMORPG Elder Tale find themselves actually inside the game world, veteran player Shiroe uses his knowledge of the game's mechanics and his own considerable political intelligence to establish the Round Table Council and begin building governing structures from scratch. Studio DEEN's first season and NHK Enterprise's subsequent productions bring Mamare Touno's light novel to life with particular attention to the strategic and interpersonal dimensions of the scenario.
