Castle in the Sky

Young Shita is held captive aboard an airship high in the sky by men seeking to unlock a secret she supposedly holds the key to. Taking advantage of a sky pirate attack, she attempts to escape but slips and falls.

Thanks to the pendant around her neck, she soars through the air. Pazu, a fearless young boy who works in the mine, sees her fall from the sky, surrounded by an aura emanating from her pendant. Soon, she reveals to Pazu that she is a descendant of the rulers of the mythical city of Laputa, the castle in the sky...
