Aldnoah.Zero

In 1972, a strange portal powered by Aldnoah and leading to Mars was discovered on the Moon. This discovery marked the beginning of human settlement on the planet, thanks in particular to Rayregalia Vers Rayvers, who was entrusted with the secrets of Aldnoah—a secret and a power passed down to his descendants.

A few years later, Mars and Earth clashed, resulting in the destruction of the lunar portal and part of the Moon in 1999. This event, known as Heaven Fall, temporarily ended the conflict. However, it was reignited some fifteen years later when the Martian princess Asseylum Vers Allusia was the victim of a conspiracy during a diplomatic visit to Earth.
